The 2023 Michigan Semiconductor Hands-On Research Experience (M-SHORE) program at the University of Michigan Lurie Nanofabrication Facility provides opportunities for eight students to participate in experiential training in nanofabrication and semiconductor-related technologies during this summer. The research projects, supervised and mentored by U-M faculty and graduate students, will address key research challenges in semiconductor materials and devices.
The program, scheduled to run 2023-2025, is financially supported by the National Science Foundation in conjunction with the Semiconductor Research Corporation.
The 2023 M-SHORE participants are sophomore and junior undergraduate students in different fields of science and engineering. They come from a variety of undergraduate institutions across the US, including primarily undergraduate universities and community colleges.
